Shades of Amber

Spent the weekend in the Bay area (San Francisco, Napa) and relished in the cool Autumn-like air on my skin and dampness in the air. Sweater weather at its finest!

Amber colors were all around me at the Alameda Flea Market, overlooking San Francisco in its cool morning air glory.  These and many other treasures were brought into the boutique this weekend. Call, email or shop online.

Spotted similar lovelies in St Tropez and fell in love with their whimsical oh-so-Frenchness and practicality!

Made of melamine making these ideal for picinic baskets or dining al fresco...ahem, or if you have someone in your household who breaks only the finest of tableware (not naming names, Sir!).  Loves the dishwasher, but the microwave, eh, not so much.

Countdown to seeing if our clients win big. Hopefully that will translate into celebratory parties over the coming weeks with goodies filled from Vintageweave!

Indian Summer Arrivals

While Southern California continues to enjoy gorgeous weather and it feels as if summer has only just begun, we've been getting so many requests from our East Coast clientele for Fall-like items. Hmmmm....

Vintage wicker wrapped jugs {$75-350}, French burlap runners {$300} and French Lace Vases {$26}filled with vibrantly deep colors set the tone nicely, oui?

And while we're on the subject of vases and flowers, The French Lace Vase continues to be ever-so popular with brides and event planners. Such elegant lines!  $26  online now

My most favorite find yet is the unbelievably fab shaped enamel pitcher. Reminiscent of faded antique French ticking, the blues are subtle and soft. I have yet to find the perfect flower to add to the simiplist beauty of it all!

French Farmhouse Lifestyle Boutique now expanded

It's official.  We're in our fabulous new space!

The move was EXHAUSTING but the amount accomplished since Friday's move has been fun and fruitful!  We can't wait to share it with all of you, whether you visit us in person or online!

New location exudes such positive energy and the neighbors are exceptionally warm...but best of all, the layout reminds me of a small farmhouse in  le plus beau village de France, such as 

Cordes-sur-Ciel or Toullouse. We are gaga in love with our new home!

WE STILL are without phone service since Thursday, thanks to our friends at AT&T (grrrrr), but fingers crossed they finally show up before Tuesday! If not it will only be cash and checks that day....!  You may reach us at vintageweave@aol.com in the interim.
